Hey Alec... Invisible Children was shown in Chapel at Baylor today. Last semester there was a presentation about the lost boys of Sudan and I have been praying more faithfully, though not perfectly and consistently enough, about what I can do in this situation and how we can impact our world through this crisis. We get so wrapped up in our own little sheltered world, don't we? Do you know about the Global Commute? I'm planning to participate in Waco and just was wondering if you knew about it... thanks for sharing your passion about this... I think that this is definitely something that God is using to remind me that prayer is empowerment for action... we need to act. I want to be involved. Anyways, just wanted to thank you for sharing and let you know I'm praying and striving towards action to make a difference, thanks for doing the same.
